The International Plant Propagators' Society (IPPS), established in 1951, is an internationally renowned association of plant production professionals. The Society provides a forum for sharing plant production knowledge with the aim to improve professionalism, knowledge, and skills among plant growers. The Society has, at present, more than 1600 members worldwide who meet regularly for regional and international level educational conferences, tours, field trips, and workshops. These events are organized at the regional level by eight geographical regions: Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Europe, Southern Africa, and Eastern, Western and Southern Regions of North America. The Society also supports various collaborative efforts, offers scholarships and research grants, and facilitates member exchange programs. The IPPS website (http://www.ipps.org/) will provide a look at the Society's activities, objectives, and useful resources in plant production and related horticultural know-how.
